Day 2 - 36 km done and 5 km to go to Sodwana

I am so glad I managed to speak to Robert tonight! So here are all the news for today... In the end yesterday he managed to paddle for 27 km... We were worried about the state his hands would be in after a whole day in the water but they actually coped...

Getting ready for the big trip

On August 4, 2014, Robert received his brand new kayak, the Polar Bear. Made out of Kevlar, this kayak is the proud bigger brother of the Sea Bear, the kayak Robert had used for his first adventure in 2012/2013 and that had sadly broken in several pieces...

Day 14 & 15 -20/11 & 21/11

My internet is not working at the moment so I am updating this blog from my phone which is not ideal... Telkom is working on the problem but it could last... Robert has had two very tiring days, paddling in a reverse current... On day 14, he did 25 km...
